Springfield Infants School Author Visit

The thing I love most about being an author is getting the opportunity to visit schools. It is so enjoyable to talk to the children about reading and to share my book with them. Yesterday, I went to one of my own old schools, Springfield Infants in Ipswich. It's been a very long time since I was last there (I'm not saying how long by the way!) and not surprisingly, it seemed considerably smaller than my memory serves. I had the chance to meet all of the children from Key Stage 1, who were such great fun and their behaviour was exemplary. A huge thank you to everybody at the school for looking after me and for inviting me.
