Emmbrook Junior School Author Visit
What a fantastic World Book Day visit to Emmbrook Junior School in Wokingham this morning. It's a real treat to go and see the children dressed up as their favourite book character or a character from their favourite book. It's great to be able to share my passion for reading and writing with the children, and hopefully inspire them in some way. The children were very well behaved, polite and so friendly. It's definitely one of the most fun things a children's author can do and of course, I get the chance to read Annie's Grannies to them at the same time. A huge thank you to everybody at the school for looking after me, supplying the tea and for inviting me.
